A Blast from the Past- Mondello Saloon Star Barry Barrable is Back!

March 12, 2014 by Leo Nulty

Former I.T.C.C, Fiat Uno, Dunlop Saloon and Spanish Hyundai Getz competitor Barry Barrable has announced he plans to compete in this seasons Patch Tyre Equipment Fiesta Championship in 2014.
The 2 time Pheonix Park winner and Mondello regular has built a Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec with the help of Dominic Mac Neill Motorsport and plans to compete in all rounds which will be televised LIVE on Mondello.TV starting this Sunday the 16th March.
Barrable said “The Barrable family has a long history in Racing and Rallying and when the opportunity came up to dust off the cobwebs and get back racing he I jumped at it!”
I have had a lot of help from everyone to make this possible especially Michael Barrable Motors, Keith Colton of Coltons of Tullamore and Robert Barrable [of Tunnocks WRC Fame]
The car will be run locally by Mick, Adam and Stephen Newe. As I am based in the UK, I plan to fly in for each round and I am really looking forward to getting “Stuck In” at the first round on the 16th March
I would also like to thank Dave from Millers Oils and Paddy Byrne from the Naas Lions Club.
