Formula Renault Test Announced for Vee Star of Tomorrow Champion

With the opening rounds of their 2020 Championship less than a week away, Formula Vee Ireland have announced that the winner of their Star of Tomorrow Championship will receive a package which includes a test in a Formula Renault.

The test will be conducted at Mondello Park, in a front running 2.0 Formula Renault, capable of lapping the National circuit in 51 seconds. The driver will also be able to compare his/her data to that of the regular driver in what will more than likely be their first experience of slicks and wings.

The deal was put together by Leo Nulty Promotions in association with Formula BOSS Ireland and as well as the test, the lucky winner will receive Media and PR Training with Nulty as well as a session with one of Ireland’s top Sports Mindcoaches, Alan Heary.

The series will be backed and promoted by Leo Nulty’s Motorsport.ie website and will run as the “Motorsport.ie Star of Tomorrow Championship”.

Barry Rabbitt, Formula BOSS Ireland: “Formula Vee has been the proving ground of single seater drivers in Ireland for countless years and we at Formula BOSS Ireland are delighted to offer this amazing opportunity, through Rabbitt Bros Racing, to test a front running car. We see this as a great opportunity for both classes to work together in securing a strong future for Irish single seater racing at all levels.”

Leo Nulty, Motorsport.ie: “I’m an ex Vee racer myself and I have always been a fan of the Star of Tomorrow Championship. At a time when many Irish drivers are starting to race overseas again, it is important to support young talent and give them the best help possible. Max Hart is a former winner of this championship and he has just had a stunning debut TCR weekend in the UK. Who knows, maybe the 2020 Star of Tomorrow can follow in his footsteps.”
