Jamie Masterson: Season 2012 done and dusted!

December 6, 2012 by Jamie Masterson

Thats it for another season! It was my first year in the Superbike cup class and realistically I suppose, I couldn’t have asked for much more. I started the season with hopes of getting a podium and getting sub minute laps at Mondello Park and then come the end of the season, not only did I get a podium but I won my first superbike cup race, won 2 Adelaide Masters Cup races and got a handful of podiums along the way. Also I smashed my 1 min benchmark by setting my personal best of 57.3 on Mondello’s technical National circuit, ending my season with a respectable 4th place in Superbike Cup in the Adelaide Masters series and 6th in the Irish Supercup Championship.

Training hard now for next season which kicks off in February with a 4 day test in Spain to try adapt to my new machine.

Ill keep on blogging over the winter on my training and progress with Moto X and mountain biking… So bring on 2013 when JMR will be back bigger and faster than ever. Thanks to everybody that helped me out this season ‘cos without everybodys help and support I wouldnt be here, so thanks to you all…
