Despite a DNF in race 1, Turkington recovered well and maintained his lead in the 2014 title chase.
The biggest crowd at Knockhill in 15 years witnessed three titanic Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship battles as a trio of drivers took their first wins of the season. Turkington felt his win was retribution for the last corner antics at Donington which cost him a race three win last time out!
Colin Turkington took the win in the final race at Thruxton after surging from fifth to first on the opening lap. The Ulsterman led home both Airwaves Racing cars of Mat Jackson and Fabrizio Giovanardi, ending an impressive day for the Wrotham-based squad.
