A FF2000 Championship decider, televised live by RTE.  PJ Fallon and David Wright were both in with a chance of winning the championship but it was Mondello stalwart Brendan McKenna who pipped them both for pole. Well here it is, the famous race where Senna blew everyone away at the 1982 Leinster Trophy. Joey Greenan and Pat Duffy give good accounts of themselves too, despite the Euroseries running different tyres to the domestic Irish series at the time.
