Mondello has reached middle age gracefully!
So Mondello Park is 45 years old tomorrow. Well, not exactly tomorrow, but you get my drift. Tomorrow evening I will interview the original owner of the circuit, Stuart Cosgrave alongside the current owner, and the man widely acclaimed as being the one who saved the circuit from almost certain sale and redevelopment in the mid eighties, Martin Biranne. ... For the last few months the Irish Strykers Racing Championship has been pushing itself as an affordable racing series. This started towards the end of last year when there was a number of cars rented in Mondello Park and also for the weekend at The Park. Irish Strykers are confident of strong 2013 season- but can anyone beat 4 time champion Watkins?
