John Crosslé, a man who made a huge contribution to motorsport in Ireland, has passed away over the weekend. The Crosslé Car Company, which John founded back in 1957, produced some incredibly successful cars in many different formulae and disciplines. Meeke, who will drive a Citroen DCS R3, is proud to be associated with the Paddy Hopkirk event.
World Rally Championship stars Kris Meeke and his co-driver Paul Nagle will drive a Citroen DCS R3 rally car in the Paddy Hopkirk Gala Cavalcade, which starts from Stormont at 10.30am on Saturday February 22nd. It was confirmed today that Formula Sheane will compete for the famous Leinster Trophy this September at Mondello Park. Introduced in 2001, the cars are all built by Sheane Cars in Co Wicklow.
