In this one the experienced Martin Boyle in the latest Mondiale, battles with Pat Duffy, the Meath ace having stepped down from a successful FF2000 campaign, in an old Crossle, with Alan McGarrity right there too in a current Crossle. Jonny McMullan from Newtownabbey, Co Antrim has been selected as the Dunlop Young Racing Driver of the Month for September. The 21 year-old won the second Formula Ford 1600 race at the Leinster Trophy meeting at Mondello Park, having earlier finished fourth in race one.
