Here is another one from the attic. GT racing started in Ireland when the flagging Modsports and Modified Saloon grids were combined giving the MG Midgets and Sprites a chance to race against the various Imp and Mini saloons. Sean leads the FF1600 Pack into Ford Corner for the first time.
Going into this weekend, the Leinster Trophy at Mondello park it was very close in the FF1600 championship standings with only nine points separating fourth place and second! This weekend is the very popular Formula Vee Festival at Mondello Park. Last year it was a great event with loads of activities for the family. After a year break of being at the fabulous Bishopscourt race circuit it was again time to head up to the Co.Down circuit.
