Turkington felt his win was retribution for the last corner antics at Donington which cost him a race three win last time out!
Colin Turkington took the win in the final race at Thruxton after surging from fifth to first on the opening lap. The Ulsterman led home both Airwaves Racing cars of Mat Jackson and Fabrizio Giovanardi, ending an impressive day for the Wrotham-based squad. Pirtek Racing’s Andrew Jordan has broken the BTCC’s longest standing qualifying lap record on his way to securing pole position at Thruxton earlier today (3 May).
